Twenty-five kilometres, half an hour outside rush hour — and readily double in the morning, the approach road to the technology park being one of the busiest axes in the department. It is an almost entirely business transfer: staff, clients, seminar speakers, often invoiced to the company. Its difficulty is not the road but the arrival. Sophia Antipolis is not a town: it is a technology park spread across several communes, with no centre, whose buildings are scattered through pine woods and whose roads carry similar names. Getting the wrong park costs ten minutes. The company name, the park name and the full address are therefore essential. The village of Valbonne next door, and the golf courses around, complete the usual destinations.

The indicative rate is 45 € one way in a saloon car — 25 kilometres at 1.8 € per kilometre. That covers pick-up at your address or in the arrivals hall, flight or train tracking, waiting time if your transport is late, luggage and tolls.

There is no meter, no night, weekend or public-holiday surcharge, and no luggage supplement.
