Toulon-Hyères Airport: how the pick-up works
Toulon-Hyères is a small airport with a limited number of routes, but it is ideally placed for the western Var and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez: barely an hour to Sainte-Maxime, a little more to Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle. For anyone heading into the gulf it is often the shortest journey when the flight exists. The airport is modest in size, which makes the pick-up simple: one arrivals hall, one meeting point, no terminal confusion. It also serves the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros via the landing stages on the Giens peninsula, and the naval base at Toulon. For Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes, allow about two hours on the A57 and then the A8: the journey is feasible but Nice Côte d'Azur then makes more sense.

Is this the best airport for Saint-Tropez?
When a flight exists, yes: a little over an hour against 1 hr 30 from Nice, and without the congestion at the eastern entrance to the gulf. There are, however, fewer routes than at Nice.
Do you serve the landing stages for Porquerolles?
Yes, the Giens peninsula is about twenty minutes from the airport. We set the time from your ferry's departure, not from your landing time.
